Corporate Social Responsibility

As part of a company that has, since 2003, been operating on the banking market of Serbia under the name of Srpska Banka, our Bank has, from its very beginning, been dedicated to society and social values which have a bearing on business decision making and the establishment of various banking practices. Our dedication to promoting and adopting trust in the company and products as well as the services which Srpska Banka offers is substantionally growing from year to year.

Corporate Social Responsibility has became a very important segment in the operation of every large company. This especially has to be kept in mind for companies which are State owned and which carry out business on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. That is why Srpska Banka has felt this as a special obligation to develop, in addition to its regular activities as a financial institution also activities through which the lives of people are made better in our region as well as improving the living conditions in our community.  

We are especially focused on following four fronts:
- Support of education
- Culture and Society
- Sports
- Donations

Corporate Social Responsibility in the field of  Support of Education

Knowledge is one of the key factors in the development of society and the best return investment on a long term basis. That is why Srpska Banka, as a socially responsible company, has established the Foundation for 5+ which provides support of education for children in primary and secondary school.
In the field of education Srpska Banka has helped the following:

  • Awards for scholarship students of the Goverment of the Republic of Serbia from the municipalities of Medvedja, Bujanovac and Presevo
  • Foundation for 5+
  • Fund for the additional education of young agricultural workers
  • Awards for three best young officers in 2010.
  • Donation for organization of the Summer school of urbanism in Kladovo.
  • Awards for pupils from the territory of the municipality of Vracar.
  • Foundation of  Dr. Zoran Djindjic

Corporate Social Responsibility in the field of  Culture and Society

Srpska Banka a.d Belgrade will continue through the donations od certain financial funds to support projects in the field of culture. So far, Srpska Banka has helped the following cultural institutions and manifestations:

  • The Etnographic Museum in Belgrade
  • A Concert of the Hungarian National Orchestra and Jadranka Jovanovic.
  • Donation for the building of a monument to Djordje Vajfert in Bor 
  • Support in organizing an exhibition of photographs „Applied Nostalgia“ in Belgrade and Warsaw during October and November 2011
  • The Forum Academy

Corporate Social Responsibility in the field of  Sport

Support of sport and sports activities as a clearly positive way for the development of youth is one of the important factors in corporate social responsibility of our company. Srpska Banka a.d helped the following sport clubs and events:

  • Rowing Association of Serbia
  • Youth basketball club Belgrade - Plavi Grom
  • Memorial turnament in „Five-a-side“ Soccer in Trstenik 2010.

Corporate Social Responsibility in the field of  Donations

Help should be given at the right moment and when it is most needed. Srpska Banka has, as a socially responsible company, helped through diffrent forms of aid the following institutions:

  • European Movement in Serbia
